He completed his engineering in computer science and after his engineering he came to Mumbai for work. He was working as a team lead in one of the companies in Mumbai called Indiagames. Jaiswal wanted to start his own company and then he started Gametion in 2008. Company started with few games like puzzle games, racing games and action games but it didn’t work that well and then Vikas started thinking about some other new game which people would love to play online. In October 2015 he came across snakes and ladder game app and then ludo came into his mind which he use to play in childhood.

He thought of working on this game ludo and bringing it online. He shared his ideas with his team and after continuous work on the game, the game was developed and finally launched in December 2016. Since the launch the game has seen major success in India. As per one article on economictimes.indiatimes, the game has about 10 million active users daily and 80% of users are from India. The game is simple and people in India are already well versed with this game. The game is perfect for all age groups and It is mostly played to kill boredom and pass their time by players. This can be one of the possible reasons for the games success and off course the games interface.

Now the company is trying to create localized versions of Ludo King. Company’s owner Vikash Jaiswal says gaming companies should come up with new ideas rather than coping the same ideas. New ideas will help gaming companies grow better.
